Privacy & activity

Baumbach Connect helps businesses understand how their connection points are used.

What the application records

When you open a business experience or follow one of its actions, the application records the business, device identifier (when present), action, and time. These counts help the business understand page visits and link activity. They do not prove that a review was posted, a purchase happened, or a contact was saved successfully.

The analytics database does not store your IP address, browser fingerprint, or a persistent visitor identifier. We do not use advertising cookies in this release. Hosting providers may process request information in their own infrastructure logs.

Connect signup requests

We save the contact details, business information, links, billing preference and notes you submit to review your request and arrange setup. A necessary session cookie protects the form and prevents duplicate requests. Submitting does not charge you, create an account or subscribe you to marketing. Requests are available only to the platform owner. Contact us to request correction or deletion. Do not include passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information.

Paid orders and shipping

When checkout is available, Stripe processes payment and recurring billing. We store payment references and order status, not card numbers. Your shipping address is shared with EasyPost and the postal carrier to purchase postage. Fulfillment details and the shipping label are emailed to Baumbach Solutions and its assistant. We retain order and fulfillment records for customer service and business records. Business links you submit may appear on your public Connect page; shipping addresses remain private.

Dashboard accounts

Signing in uses a necessary session cookie. Accounts store an email address and a password hash. Authorized staff can see their business activity and manage the content they have permission to change.

External destinations

Review sites, social networks, and linked websites follow their own privacy policies. Downloading a contact card is optional. This app does not subscribe you to marketing messages.

Retention and access

Activity is retained until removed by the platform administrator. Businesses can ask Baumbach Solutions for a copy or deletion of their business data. Device-inventory exports are available in the dashboard. Before wider customer rollout, retention periods and hosting-log settings will be finalized.
